NASA Awards Contract

NASA has awarded a contract to Denmar Technical Services to modify a Boeing 737-700 aircraft for lunar-gravity parabolic flights. The contract, worth up to $8.4 million, will enable NASA to test space equipment in a reduced-gravity environment.

The modified aircraft will be used to validate astronaut lunar suits and associated crew systems required for the Artemis mission. The contract includes aircraft modifications, maintenance, and testing services for NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center and Johnson Space Center.

According to NASA, the award is a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum potential value of $8.4 million, running through February 1, 2027. For more information, visit NASA's website.
