NASA 737 Prep

NASA's 737 aircraft has been painted and is undergoing modifications to serve as a reduced gravity test aircraft. The plane will be used for lunar-gravity parabolic flights to test astronaut lunar suits and crew systems for the Artemis mission.

The aircraft will operate from NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, with oversight from NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center. It will also be used for systems-integration research, including flight testing autonomy, sensors, and digital systems.

The 737 was acquired by NASA from the United States Air Force in June and is currently being modified for its new role. The aircraft's new paint job features the NASA logo in red, white, and blue.
