Earthset From Moon

NASA's Artemis II mission has captured a stunning image of Earthset from the lunar far side. The photo, taken on April 6, 2026, shows the Earth appearing to sink below the lunar horizon.

The image reveals the Earth's sunlit side with white clouds and blue water over the Oceania region, while the dark areas are experiencing nighttime. The photo also showcases incredible detail of the Moon's surface, including overlapping craters and basins.
