UFO Sighting in Middletown, New York

Clear starlit night. in backyard installing propane tank. i felt compelled to raise flashlight. up to sky. immediately , a disc shaped white fiery light shot over my head horizontally. not a meteor. i watched it disappear. it never went up or down.
