UFO Sighting!
Sitting in the back yard with several family members on a clear night. Looking up at the stars noticed a dot moving overhead on a straight path from west to east. We all agreed it to be a satellite until there was a “flare up” that lasted approx 1 – 2 seconds. This lookes similar to a booster rocket firing but was a much shorter duration. After the flare up, the dot accelerate and became more faint until it disappeared completely.
