UFO Sighting!
We were out for a drive returning home when we noticed a bizarre object in the sky. Followed it for about 5 minutes in car before it disappeared suddenly. Drove to the end of the road where there are fields that continue North and offer a wide view the sky. Noticed other neighbours out of home also watching horizon.
Object resembled a fireball racing across the sky. It was moving too rapidly to be a meteor and too erratically to be an aircraft. Airport in area, but did not resemble any helicopters/planes. No power plants or government installations in region.
Object was large enough to be seen from several miles away towards the North of Lindsay. It was orange-red in colour. Object was flying below the cloud cover, but significantly higher than trees.
