UFO Sighting Report!

I was driving home from the town of Lake Elsinore. Turned up Country Club Drive from Lakeshore Drive toward eastern hills. We have a lot of air traffic here because of near-by airport/sky-diving, hang-gliding, balloonists, private planes, military planes and copters etc., activities so, I’m very aware of what’s in our sky. Looked up and noticed bright silvery, shiny oval quite a distance up and high in sky. I slowed down and stopped to have a better look because object was not typically shaped. No wings, no tail, no sound. Was not the usual “sky stuff” we see here.

Watched object for a few seconds as it sharply bobbed up and down while steadily moving toward the south-east. I turned away briefly, looked back and it had completely disappeared. Eastern sky view is open to view planes for a long way out but there was no hint of the silver object.

UFO Sighting Report!

Around 6 pm this evening I was driving down state route 22-3 (montgomery rd) toward Landen when I saw two large, bright lights in the sky. They immediately caught my attention. As I drove I got closer to the object and I pulled into the Mcdonalds parking lot to observe it. I am unaware of the altitude of the object because I’m not familiar with the normal altitudes aircraft fly at. Therefore, I went by my knowledge of just seeing planes in the sky on a daily basis and determined that it was lower than a plane would normally be. However, I cant say for sure, the object was so large it seemed that it must have been very low or it could have been higher than that but my perception was thrown off by the size of it, I do not know. Anyway, I sat in the Mcdonalds parking lot just watching the object move toward my direction, I thought it was stationary from afar but after observing it for several minutes I realized it was moving very slow. Eventually it passed over my location and I observed it to be a large black triangle. There were three lights, one in each corner. The light on the point of the triangle was dimmer in comparison to the other lights. I couldn’t determine the color of the craft as it passed overhead, all I could see were the large lights. There were no flashing lights at all on the craft. I rolled my windows down as the craft passed very close to my location and I heard absolutely no sound, not like you normally would hear with an airplane. I watched this object until it was completely out of my view. I am truly puzzled by what I witnessed.

UFO Sighting Report!

After observing the shuttle/station flyover, 4 other witnesses and I saw a silver round or sphere like object moving quickly across the sky, stopping suddenly, then zipping back the other way. At times it would move in a zig-zag pattern. All people who saw it commented on it. I will have my girlfriend file a report as well.
I noticed the object, as did one other as it zipped into view, about 2 mins AFTER the shuttle/space station had passed.
The object finally flew out of view, towards the west………
Was excited after seeing the object. And was wishing I had had a video camera with me !!!!!!

UFO Sighting Report!

Some friends and I were at the local airport to observe the shuttle Discovery fly over, on approach to KSC (a rare occurance). We missed the shuttle sighting, though we heard the double sonic booms. We had been seeing commercial airliners fly over all morning (we are near the Butler VOR, and most were leaving contrails and we could hear the jet engines. But about 11:50, I was looking straight UP from the airport grounds, and observed a small orange object with what appeared to be small black protuberances on the port, and starboard sides. It was traveling about twice as fast as a jetliner (from my perspcective), with no noise or contrail. Its apparent size compared to the jets that had been flying over, IF it was at 35,000 feet would have had to be somewhere between 20 and 30′ across. It’s direction of travel was NW, with no deviation. It was small enough, that I didnt want to take my eyes off of it for fear of losing sight of it, even though I had a video camera on me, I would have had to adjust things to get it in the field of view. Kind of made me mad.
My friends with me did not see it, (since it was so small), and because of the NW trajectory, would have been unlikely to be a satelite – most go west to east in some manner. It disapeard in the distance to the Northwest at an elevation of about 45degrees. The protuberances were too small to be wings, so that is a mystery. I had made notes, but misplaced them, and I had forgotten the exact date, till I went to www.spaceflightnow.com to research it… I and my friends are licenced private pilots with various ratings, and I am a self-employed business owner. My overall reaction was – wow – and I was trying to get my friends to get a look at it. It would be nice to have had corroboration.

UFO Sighting Report!

Same as my last posting except the object was higher up in the sky about 3000 feet. Bright orb flying almost the exact path as the previous and was not a satellite, no blinking lights or sound coming from it. Came from the north west heading south east @ 6:01pm 11/24/2009. Lasted for about a minute. I did have the batteries in the camera this time and got a few photos but they don’t do it justice. I also have a video I may upload at a later date.

UFO Sighting Report!

I work on the 14th floor of the CNN building in Hollywood. I was getting some water from the fountain when I noticed a bright seemingly stationary object in the western sky, possibly above the ocean. I began to observe the object because I’ve worked here for a year and have never seen planes in that portion of the sky. One would think that there would be a flight path leading into Los Angeles Int’l there but I truly have never observed planes flying in from that direction. Plus, this object was too high to be a plane on approach (I’d estimate several thousand feet) and there was something about this light that didn’t indicate ‘airplane’ to me. It was just too bright.

Shortly after another object appeared to the right of the first.

UFO Sighting Report!

I was on the boardwalk at “The Sands”(a beach) in Port Royal,SC
taking pictures of dolphins and the sunset.
I didn’t see nor did I hear anything.
It was only after I downloaded the photos that I noticed the
strange object at the top of the photo.
Though the photo is blurry, when zoomed in the object seems to have what appears to be similar lights on each side(?), however, I leave it to
the experts to decide/figure out what it might be(if anything)

UFO Sighting Report!

i was standing outside on the balcony at my daughters apartment building. when i looked up at the moon. then i looked underneath the moon and noticed a circular shape with lights around the underside of the object they did not appear to be flashing and the object was stationary in the sky.it was not any commercial aircraft and it was not any military aircraft. living in wichita,kansas you see airplanes all the time flying day and night. i watched object for 10-12 minutes before the clouds covered object. as i said earlier object was round underneath with lights around bottom outside edge. when i saw object i thought to my self what in the heck is that. i have never seen anything like that before. my husband always points out commercial and military aircraft to me all the time telling me exactly what it is.even at night i can tell the difference between man made aircraft from something of unknown origin.
