Neil Armstrong, First Man on Moon, has Died

Neil Armstrong, the primary man to stroll at the moon, has gave up the ghost on the age of 82. Evidently, he succumbed to complications following cardiac bypass surgery.

It was on July 20, 1969, with the full world watching, that Armstrong sat his boot down at the surface of our moon. The capsule that carried him and fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin, was the “Eagle.” When it landed, Armstrong proclaimed, “Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed.”

When he took step one at the surface, he uttered the famous phrase: “That’s one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind.”
