UFO Leader Passes

The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) has announced the passing of its Executive Director, David 'Dave' MacDonald. MacDonald was a respected voice in the global UFO and UAP research community, guiding MUFON through significant periods, including congressional hearings and renewed scientific interest. He first assumed leadership of MUFON in 2012 and brought a unique blend of aviation knowledge, investigative discipline, and personal passion to the organization.

According to Debbie Ziegelmeyer, longtime MUFON board member and Executive Vice President, 'Dave MacDonald devoted a significant part of his life to MUFON and to the serious study of UFOs and UAP.' Ziegelmeyer will assume the role of Acting Director, ensuring continuity for MUFON's members and the broader public.

MUFON extends its deepest condolences to Dave's family, friends, and colleagues. The organization will continue its work, collecting reports, investigating cases, preserving data, educating the public, and pursuing the truth with integrity.
