UFO Sighting Report!

I was driving home from a late night at work in anna working on monthly reports. I am driving north towards Carbondale where I live. A car driving south starts flashing it’s lights at me fast. I figure it’s a warning for deer. I don’t see any deer then I glance to the left and a glowing green ball is moving at a high rate of speed traveling north, almost like a flash. I was amazed and thought I just witnessed a comet, then on the right side of 51 a huge low flying triangle object with about at least 4-5 dim lights is traveling northwest towards cedar lake. I fumble for my cell phone and got a video but it shows nothing really.The triangle moved steady at a pretty good rate but not extremely fast. I turned down rifle range and could barely see it through the trees heading towards cedar lake. I drove to the boat ramp and saw nothing. After an hour of debating I reported it hoping to hear of similar sightings. That is why I’m posting this. I cannot reveal my identity because people will think I’m a freak! I know someone else had to have seen it especially the car that was frantically flashing their lights. This is the first time I’ve seen anything like this. So anyone that saw the flying triangle about 100 yards wide please post your story. I’m still in disbelief.

leaving lowes store i saw a ufo over the marine corp base (camp pendleton) bright white fireball coming from sky and looked like it was going to crash but i never saw a bright light coming from area just disapeared i got a weird sensation to look up and catched it.

UFO Sighting Report!

I have not been able to dismiss or forget this event–it keeps replaying in my head. Finally, some two months later, I visited this website to determine whether anyone else had reported something akin to it. I was shocked to see how many people indeed reported having seen someting very similar to what I saw on the evening on 9.19.09 in the sky over central NJ.
I had been debating with myself and trying to dismiss or rationally explain away what I saw, yet nothing seemed to make sense. Now that I realize I wasn’t the only one seeing strange things I will share what I saw that night, and yet still can’t explain…
It was sometime after dinner–I don’t know exactly what time, but surely early evening. I was out on my second-story deck, entertaining a family of four who had come to visit. They all sat on the floor in a loose circle around me. I was also sitting on the deck floor with my back against the house wall, facing them. As I was speaking to my friends I could see the broad night sky over their heads. It was a spectacularly clear evening; I was enjoying the view. Suddenly I saw a very bright, white light in the south-eastern quadrant of the sky. It was approximately at a 45 degree angle in the arc between ground and zenith. I felt perplexed, for though I had been continuously viewing the sky while speaking, I had not noticed this light gradually enter my field of vision, as a plane would have done. I dismissed this as being due to distraction, but it still didn’t seem right. That bright spotlight seemed to have simply appeared out of nowhere. Being a former small-plane sport pilot, and avid plane spotter, I presumed it was an airliner flying below cruising altitude, perhaps heading into Newark Liberty International Airport, which is a 30 min. drive north of here on US Rt. 1. I thought that it was now coincidentally turning its landing lights into my line of sight. A plane coming at you in this fashion often seems to hang still in the sky for a some seconds, so I made no bones about the fact that it seemed to be stationary. Then I thought it might be a helicopter hovering in place, though had that been the case I should have been able to also hear its rotors. Yet there was no sound whatsoever coming from it. My friends were not aware of what was happening in the sky behind them. Suddenly the light flared intensely. At that very moment it also generated a very bright, long, inverted-V shaped beam down towards the ground. What I first thought was a white cloud simultaneously materialized out of thin air and enshrouded this beam of light, which in turn brightly illuminated the swirling “cloud.” At that moment I interrupted myself and cried out loud, as I pointed to it, “Whoa! What the hell is that?!” My four friends instantly turned their heads around and glanced up, but the railing obstructed their view. Anyway, the event was over. Seeing nothing, they said nothing, and turned right back to me. I shrugged my shoulders and sputtered something about a strange airplane light and went on talking. Still trying to dismiss this event as local air-traffic, I kept my eyes glued to the region in the sky where this had all just happened. The very local “cloud” of mist or smoke or whatnot lingered for many minutes afterwards, making me even more uncomfortable, as I could not explain any of this to myself. Had it drifted into view due to winds, why was it so still now? At the time there was no other speck of cloud or mist in the sky, nor had there been any before. In any case, this white “cloud” clearly had been almost wrapped around the light source and its beam in a very strange fashion. I am still baffled.

Soy un vigilante de los cielos, por aficion, pero nunca habia tenido la fortuna de tener un avistamiento. La tarde-noche del domingo 29 de noviembre de 2009, sali al patio trasero de mi casa y mire al cielo y me encontre con la sorpresa de un grandioso avistamiento OVNI.
Era un circulo de tipo platillo volante muy brillante que recorrio una gran distancia, me atreveria a afirmar que a una velocidad superior a la de nuestros aviones comerciales, cabe destacar que la ruta que mantenia el objeto no es una ruta de vuelos para aviones comerciales. Este objeto simplemente recorrio una gran distancia frente a mis ojos y yo quede perplejo, anonadado, estupefacto, mirando como dicho objeto se alejaba cada vez mas frente a mis ojos y con una gran satisfaccion de convencerme de una vez por todas que no estamos solos en el universo y que jamas lo hemos estado. El objeto simplemente desaparecio entre las monta�as y ya no lo divise mas, simplemente siguio su recorrido hasta salir del espacion aereo visible, el objeto siempre mantuvo una velocidad y una altitud constante; nunca cambio ni su forma, ni su tama�o, ni su luminosidad. Tengo la certeza de que los radares en la torre de Control del Aeropuerto Camilo Daza en la ciudad de Cucuta-Colombia, han de tener algun registro que certifique y valide este avistamiento OVNI; ya que este Aeropuerto queda a no mas de 20 a 30 km aproximadamente del lugar del avistamiento… Mil gracias y espero su pronta respuesta, estare muy atento a ella.

UFO Sighting Report!

I was driving home from work when I saw an object coming towards me. It was very foggy and I could see it going in and out of the fog, a few hundred feet up in the air. To be honest it could have been an aircraft from Moody Air Force base, but it looked pretty weird. I’ve lived here my whole life, about 15 minutes from the base and haven’t seen anything like this. As it approached I came to a stop in the middle of the road, trying to see more of it. It passed over my car and zig zagged slowly into the opposite direction. I hesitated and thought about following it but didn’t. It was moving slow enough that I felt like I might be able to follow it. I thought it could have been a helicopter but it was silent and had too many lights, on 4 corners. I wish I could describe it further but I don’t remember the details. It happened really fast and I didn’t have a good look with it passing over.

UFO Sighting Report!

I got out of bed to get a drink of water, then opened the window to let in some cool evening air. I noticed what a beautiful, clear night it was and how well you could see the stars in the sky. Looking across the night sky ,I saw three stars in a perfect line perhaps two fingers between each and wondered as to what constellation I might be obvserving. The three stars were all stationary for at least 30 seconds. At that point the center of the three stars seemed to start moveing. At first very slowly (at this point I began to wonder was it actually moving or was it my immagination?) After three or four more seconds of watching it, not totally sure if it was moving or not, it began to speed up.Eventually to about 4 times faster than any of the commercial jets that fly over our home. I watched it move in a straight line across the sky. I ran to the other side of the house to keep watching but it had allready distanced itself from view. I have no idea what I saw, but I felt kind of lucky in a way to have seen something so interesting. I cant stop thinking about what it could have been. Each time I think about what I saw that night, a warm smile appears upon my face. I truely believe that I saw something very special. I have seen meteorites,comets,cloud punches,and many other oddities in the sky, but truly this was the most amazing thing that I have ever seen. If you think thier is a simple explanation of what I might have seen, please let me know. The truth of what I saw is all I seek. I have allways had an open mind about the possibilties that are out there. My father was in the Air Force in England in WW2 and saw or heard some amazing things which he “hinted” to me about, but said he could not tell me any more when I questioned him on it. I found out later in life that he was describing what they call “foo fighters” and such. One night, while dad and I looked up at a beautiful night sky, he asked me if I thought that there was intelligent life up there. Without hesitating I responded “absolutely”. He asked why I thought that. I told him “Well there isnt any down here, there has got to be some somewhere”. He grinned and shook his head in agreement. I think he might have allready known it. As much as I am a dreamer and a romantic, I still have an extremely analytical mind. I question everything and everyone, incuding myself on occasion. My heroes growing up were Davinci and Giordono Bruno; because they told the truth at whatever the cost! Please continue your wonderful work, and thank you very much for your time. Terry

UFO Sighting Report!

I was standing outside having a cigarette when I noticed the object in the sky. I first thought it was a silver childrens balloon but this object had much more mass to it. It didn’t have the flight characteristics of a balloon. It definitely wasn’t “floating” in wind currents, it seemed to be moving in a “purposful trajectory”. It was a trapezoidal shaped silver object about the size of a small car at 1500 ft moving at about 80-100 mph from East to West. Couldn’t tell if it had lights or if the flashes were from the reflection of the sunlight. Object had no control surfaces or rotors. No visible means of propulsion. The object was spinning horizontally with reference to the ground and emitted no noise. There was no wind on the ground and am unsure what the winds were at 1500 feet. The whole event lasted about 3-4 minutes.

UFO Sighting Report!

I was watching sky and this object flew forward and then backward.
As it moved backward I took a photo and it was lighting 3 bulbs under itself.
Suddenly it became brighter, when I took a photo I could see 6 light bulbs under it.
I was chasing it in my car, I drove to where it headed backward and I couldn’t see it.
I decided to go back home, which is the forward direction of that object and I found it agin flying foward.
I followed it and the object stopped and lighted just one light, blinking and it looked just like a star, a blinking star.
I watched it for 5 minutes and it didnot move so I thought it might be a star, and then it suddenly turned on the light bulbs again and moved to north east, I think.

UFO Sighting Report!

I was driving out of the city when I noticed a string of multi-colored lights, which were not flashing, low in the night sky. It appeared to be traveling slowly, quickly changed position in the sky and was difficult to follow. At first I thought it might be a radio tower although this is a road I have traveled thousands of times and knew there wasn’t anything like that in that area. Also the string of colored lights were at a 20-30 degree angle. When I was able to get to an area not as well lit with lights, I noted a faint outline of what appeared to be a triangular shape. I did see a single white light that was flashing like you would see with an airplane. I live near an army instillation and am used to seeing flying planes at night. I have never seen this type of light configuration and the shape. Does anyone have any idea if this is a ufo or just a plane?
